Important: You must have completed Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform 5000 Series Differences Training Deep Dive – TXP3893-3 before registering for this course.

This intermediate course provides an introduction to Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform 5000 series. It focuses on the overall hardware architecture as well as highlighting the hardware differences from the previous VSP storage systems. Also, this course defines the steps to install the storage system initially.

This course is 100% hands-on practice on the VSP 5000 series hardware.

Note that THI3857 is designed for those who have prerequisite knowledge of legacy Hitachi VSP storage systems.

  • Practice rebuilding the initial build subsystem if the subsystem fails
