  • Hitachi Enterprise In-System and TrueCopy Remote Replications – TSI2980
  • Managing Hitachi Storage with Hitachi Command Suite v8.x – TSI2565

This 3-day course provides training to enable engineers the ability to set up and service global-active device (GAD).

Lab activities are included to provide hands-on practice on Global-Active Device (GAD) setup with command control interface, setup GAD with Hitachi Command Suite GUI, quorum replace and migration with GAD.

Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:

  • Describe global-active device (GAD) architecture and components and identify supported configurations
  • Perform GAD configuration using Command Control Interface or GUI (Hitachi Command Suite and future)
  • Migrate a quorum device in a running GAD environment 
  • Perform a GAD-based migration from HM800 to HM850 with internal Quorum
