Basic Hardware Installation

The basic hardware installation involves the procedure of placement of new hardware in the rack. The first step is to transfer the equipment from carrier’s transport vehicle to the server room while sticking to the principles of safe handling of a given type of hardware. The equipment is then placed in the rack, connected to electrical grid (UPS) and the network wire interconnection is set up.
